3 Ways To Kickstart Weight Loss Before The New Year

There are so many little things you can do now to prepare you for weight loss success in the new year. And if you start now, you’ll be ahead of the curve once the new year rolls around.
I have 3 super simple things that you can start doing now. To start on your new year resolution before the new year begins
#1 Stock up on healthier food options. I’m sure that with all of the friends and family visits and parties, you’ve probably eaten out more than usual this holiday season. So take a trip to Whole Foods,Trader Joe’s or Sprout’s and stock up on healthy foods to fill your fridge and pantry. Take a minute to pass out the last bit of sweets you may have and then don’t look back. Start eating healthy meals at home before the new year comes.
#2 Talk a walk. You may not be ready for full-out workouts at the gym or fitness studio yet, but if you start out by walking, you’re well on your way. Walking is the oldest form of exercise and it easy on your joints but still promote healthy activity for your body. Walk and exercise more each day until you’re ready to tackle the new year in the gym or studio.
#3 Drink a lot of water. A good rule of thumb is to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water every day. It’s hard to remember to do that sometimes, so invest in a water bottle and carry it with you everywhere. If you’re not a fan of drinking straight up water, infuse it with some strawberries, mint or cucumbers to give it a hint of flavor. The water will begin to detoxify your system. And With the addition of your healthy meals, and walking, you’re well on your way to a healthier, and more fit you.
