The  number 1 benefit is that you get more personalized attention. 

Now of course it’s not nearly as personal as one-on-one training but when you’re in larger group classes the instructor can’t always help you to focus on your workout or check that your form is correct during an exercise. 

 

But with small group fitness, the instructor has the ability to give you that personal training attention while still being in a group setting.

 

The second benefit is that it’s more cost effective. One on one training can cost upwards of $150 for a 45 minutes to one hour workout.
